For me a dental practice was once a place I visited only when the pain in a tooth became unbearable. I would then ring around until I found a dentist who was free to see me there and then before the courage left me. This is how I found St John's Dental Clinic 8 years ago. On that visit I tended Tom Quilter and I explained I was a very nervous patient who generally avoided dental visits at all costs. To my surprise Tom was very understanding of my fears and apprehension he treat me with the utmost care and respect since then I have attended St John's Dental Clinic for my yearly checkup and any follow up treatments required. At each visit I am still nervous but the professional and respectful manner shown to me by all staff members has eased my apprehension and encouraged me to attend more regularly. I am delighted to say that now in my personal phone ok under dentist entry is the contact details for St Johns Dental clinic - an entry that was blank for so many years. Kind regards

Having spent many years struggling to smile naturally I finally decided to investigate. Apprehension was dimensioned when I sat in Toms chair for my initial consultation. Within minutes I realised i should have done this years ago A detailed discussion was carried out before examinations Every aspect of my journey was explained and I was full confident that i had made the right decision. I wasn't after a holiday smile just a normal smile every measurement possible was taken to make sure the end product suited my facial profile. the end result was amazing better than i could have imagined I was willing to go through any pain and hours on the chair to get this done but to my surprise neither developed. The whole process was spread over a longer period so no 1 period was too taxing. This allowed adaptation to each stage of my development before moving forwards again. My only regret is that did not approach Tom yes earlier. 5 star service results and clinic.

Over the years I have been to a number of Dentists and always been told what was wrong with my teeth. From the first appointment I had with Mr. Quilter he told me what could be done to improve my teeth. From something as simple as wearing a mouth guard at night to having my front teeth crowned. No more pains in my jaws and for the first time since I can remember I can show my teeth when I smile. Really appreciated the "if a jobs worth doing, its worth doing well" attitude Mr. Quilter showed at all my appointments. This made the whole experience easier and more made me feel confident that i was doing the right thing. was informed of the cost of my treatment at the beginning and there were no hidden costs in the final bill. Mr .Quilter is an honest and very approachable ( I had many questions!) Dentist that i have already recommended to a few friends.

My experience at St. John's Dental Practice. While attending the dentist is not one of my preferred ways of spending time, I have always found my experiences at St. Johns to be positive. All the staff are extremely courteous and helpful. Whenever I was in pain I was seen to without delay and on occasions my visit was followed by a phone call to insure I was experiencing no further discomfort. On my most recent visit I had a root canal filling; Tom (Quilter) explained the procedure to me in full, I was shown an x-ray of the tooth before and after which allowed me to fully comprehend the necessity and benefits of the treatment. I did not experience any discomfort during the procedure I felt it was carried out efficiently and professionally. I left feeling I had been dealt with on a personal level, nothing was rushed, I was made feel at ease and my questions were answered. I am certainly happy to recommend St. John's Dental Practice.
